Naughty, Naughty boy!

The other day, I was up stairs putting away laundry, and I asked the kids where Brandon was. They said they didn't know. So I just kept putting away laundry and figured he was in the house. I finally went downstairs, because I had not heard him in a while and I came to the pantry door and saw brown sugar coming out the door. I did not even want to open the door, but I did, and this is what I saw. I couldn't help but laugh, and it was funny because you could see it around his mouth and knew he had been eating it. Needless to say it was all over in his hair, stuck on his clothes and all over my pantry.

sports

Matthew started soccer a few weeks ago and is really loving it. They don't have any games or anything just learning how to play and having fun. Matthew is the one in the dark blue shirt. I am going to get some better pictures of Matthew, we were so far away so sorry  you can't see him very well. Also, Ashlie started gymnastics last week. She is so cute to watch and has really improved since last time she was in it.

I really need to get some better pictures, because we were so far away. Sorry, I will work on that. Also, Ashlie started gymnastics last week. She loves it as well, it is so cute to see how much more she does, since last time she was in gymnastics.

Our new pet fish

Here is our newest addition to the family. Her name is Dorthy. Yes it is from elmo. The kids love the fish and Matthew has to sleep with it in his room every night.

Girls Camp

Well,
last week was girls camp, as some of you may not know, I was called as Girls camp director. It was so fun to go and just be a girl again, I think you just get in the mode. The area we went was so pretty, and the weather was perfect. It is such a good time to be able to get out there for 4 days and to feel the spirit and to draw closer to Heavenly Father. My favorite night is testimony night, not 1 girl didn't bear her testimony. I  just love the girls and you could tell they really had learned while they were up there.

Canyoneering Back In May

While we where in St. George for Jamie's big 30th birthday bash, I managed to get some time to go canyoneering with friends from dental school, Craig and Brandon, and my brother Curtis. We did a canyon in Zions National Park called Spry canyon. We got a little lost at the beginning, luckly we all were not dentist, my brother has his masters in geographical information systems. So he took the GPS unit from me, turned it right side up, changed the settings and got us in the right canyon (which is important since I have heard of people going in the wrong canyon and not having long enough ropes). None of us had been in this canyon before, but our last trip we had meet a group that highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. We had lots of rappels, freezing cold swims, great views, and narrow slots. It was Brandon's first slot canyon and besides a refresher course on rappelling, it seemed like he had been doing this all his life. Here are a few picture from the trip.

Kindergarten!!

Well, I can't believe Matthew is all registered for Kindergarten. It's weird that my little baby is going to be starting school, and now I have to get used to planning our trips around school. Not that missing Kindergarten is that crucial, but it is good to start good habits. He was so excited to go and see his new school, and we played on the playground a bit. I think he will do well.
