Some good news!

Jeff and I went to the doctor's  yesterday  to have another Ultra Sound and he told us, that my placenta has totally moved!! I was totally relieved and happy to hear such great news. I was really not looking forward to having a C- section. So let's hope that all goes well only 9 more weeks.( I hope)...

My pre- schooler!!

Ashlie Started Pre School on Tuesday!! It's kind of weird having 2 kids gone for 2 and half hours. She really loves Miss Patti, and is really eager to learn.

I swear, I can never get my kids to take a normal smiling picture. Does anyone else have the problem??

DNC (Democratic National Convention)

As most of you know we have the DNC going on in Denver, we only live 15 minutes away from down town (on a good traffic day) , so despite wanting to stay very far away from all the nutters, we still get to see some of the protest going on.  Yesterday we saw an airplane with a banner behind it with Osama Bin Ladens picture on it and www.watchobsession.org  On the way to drop Matthew off at school we saw on the mountain the above picture.  This is only the second day, I can't wait to see what other fun stuff the DNC brings.

Brandons 2nd birthday

Brandon's birthday was so much fun. We had family and friends come over and had a yummy BBQ. I really can not believe he is already 2.

Brandon was not quite sure of us beating up his beloved Elmo. I tried to get him to take a swing but he would have nothing to do with it. After we beat him up and all of the kids were going for the candy, he picked up elmo and was just staring at hi a little bit
My big 2 year old!!!

Here is the elmo cake. It was the first cake I have ever made. I know that is really sad, but I usually just order one or make a traditional cake out of the box. I think it turned out pretty good, and Brandon loved it. When he saw it, he sang his little song " La La La La elmo world. He does a little dance with his song and sticks out his tounge. It is so cute.
We played Pin the nose on Elmo!
I love this picture how he is just peeking into it.

Thank you Aunt Heather,Uncle Chris and Dillion for the cool train glasses.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Cottle for the Dragon and the cool Dragon Book.

Big Boy

Our baby boy is growing up so fast. Last week we decided to try him out in the toddler bed, so he can get used to being out of the crib. He has been in the crib the longest out of all our children, because we usually need it by the time they are 18 months. He has done really well so far and even on the first night he was really excited to hop on in. He doesn't even get out of bed until we come and get him. It's so hard to let him grow up for some reason. Now on to the disappearing of the pacifier!!! Wish us luck.

One last camping trip!

This friday we decided to go camping one last time for the summer, and before school starts on Tuesday. It was pretty fun and the weather was not to bad, we only had a little, well a big 10 min rain storm and then it cleared up. Luckily we just got the tent set up. The kids had a really good time cooking smores and roasting marshmallows. Sorry I didn't take any pictures, I was really sad that I did not.  I will try to post some pictures of Brandon's birthday tonight.

Happy Birthday Brandon !!

My baby turns 2 today, and I can hardly believe it. 2 years ago, at about this time, I came home from my routine doctor apt and he told me I was already 4 cm dilated, and I didn't even know it. Later that night we got to the hospital at about 7:00 and I was almost at 6 and then we had him at 10:59 p.m with 1 push. His birth was so great and easy, he was my lightest at 7 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. I really can not tell you what a joy it is to have around Brandon. You have defiantly been our toughest, colic baby, but you have such a fun personality right now and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Your Milestones at 2:

Weight: 24.7 lbs = 12th %tile
Height: 32 1/4 in = 6th %tile

You love your Kitty ( who goes everywhere with you) Elmo, Micky Mouse, and trains
You love to play with rocks, CARS, cars and more cars, and ride your little bike
You are a very good jumper and jump and do flips off of anything
You can do lots of puzzles, and know most of your animal sounds
You can sing twinkle little star, part of the alphabet, I am a Child of God, Jesus want me for a Sunbeam, Happy and you know it, Itsy Bitsy Spider and a few other songs
You can count to 10
You are ALWAYS asking for Hugs with your arms wide open ,and then for kisses and give the gentlest little kiss. It is sooo cute.
You love Ashlie and Matthew very much and try so hard to be just like them

Happy Birthday little guy we love you so much and can't imagine life without you!!!

Stay tuned for the big Elmo Party Tomorrow!!
