8 Months Old:

Weight: 16 lbs 12 oz

First word Mama
Loves blankets and pacifires
Loves to give you big open mouth kisses
Gets up on all fours
You love to suck on your tongue and make clicking noises
You love to make motor noises with your mouth
You get soooo excited when mom or dad walk in the room
Loving table food more and more
Still on soy milk, drinks 5 oz of milk, and when you eat you have to play with my hair or my face
You love to jump
You still HATE taking road trips (lucky us)
You take one short morning nap and then a 3 hour afternoon nap
You love to lay on the bed with me

You are still such an easy going baby. You like to be held, but you are really good at having your play time too. Your personality is really cute right now.

Our 4th of July week

On our way home from Mesa Verde we decided to take the scenic way home through Durango, and Silverton it was so pretty. We were lucky enough to see the train. Brandon was in heaven to see the train go. Over the 4th of July we went camping with Jeffs family and my Sister and Brother in law and there 4 kids to Mancos State park. We found a campground on a lake and was able to fish and canoe. It was sooo pretty. We went over to Mesa Verde National Park and took a few of the tours there. It was pretty cool to see all of the sights. We were able to watch the fireworks from the top of the dam. It was such a fun trip!

Bathtime. We camped for 5 days we had to clean them a little!


Matthew loves fishing. He caught 3 or 4 fish and Ashlie and Matthew even tried some. They are brave, since I have not tried fish in my whole life. Never even a piece of Sea Food.
