I don't know why, I can't get a normal smile out of this kid
Matthew started 1st grade on Monday,and it was a sad yet happy day! If you have been there done that, you know how weird it is to have your first child gone all day. I kind of feel guilty doing fun things when he is not home. You did really well on your first day though, you came home happy and that's all that counts!Teacher: Mrs. Williams

Oh man. First grade... I still can't believe Kennedy is starting Kindergarten next week. Our kids are getting too old. AHHH!!
Awwww, how cute, and yes, it would (and will) be VERY wierd to have a child missing all day. Oh well you have so many others, you won't even miss him :) J/K
Wow, you have a child in grade 1? I still remember my first day of.... ok well it was grade 2 but that's close. When did we get so old? ;)
Why can't you get a normal smile out of him? because he's 5! (or is it 6) Kids that age don't ever smile normal, it's just in their makeup.
