2012 Holiday programs

2nd grade Hoedown!!

(November 2012)

Every year 2nd grade does their annual hoe down. It's really cute, the whole week they learn about western stuff, get to ride in a wagon pulled by mules and visit the museum.  Then afterwards they get to enjoy rolls that they helped make and popcorn balls and cider.

I'm back!!!

Ok so I am going to start blogging again. One because I really want to remember all the things my kids have done and said and make these into books. And two because they have this awesome app now right on my phone that makes it so easy to blog. Take a picture and bam put it on my blog:). So I'm really behind and may try to catch up to a point but I'm excited.  And I really wish other people would start blogging too. I really enjoyed reading them.

New Years Eve 2011

Someone didn't quite make it.  We piled our coats on the floor and she fell asleep.  Not sure how though because the music was loud, and even when everyone was celebrating she stayed asleep

Don't worry its just sparkling cider.  They ran out of cups!

This year for New Year's Eve we were in Colorado Springs with Jeffs parents.  They had a deal at the bowling alley on the Air Force Base to bowl as many games as you can bowl from 8-12 and you got one meal and all you can drink.  It was so fun!  It's actually one of the best New Years I have had in a while.  Our whole family is really big into bowling so we all enjoyed ourselves and I was actually able to stay awake until midnight because i was busy.  I hope we do this again next year!

Christmas 2011

This year again we paid10 dollars and went out and chopped our tree down.  It was a really big tree this year, and I loved it!

Kyle is not quite awake yet

 Yea Jeff got a pad;)
Brandon really likes trains, so he got this really cool picture from Grandpa Wursten
Ash needs to practice dentistry early

Can you tell Jeff is surprised!! He got a new grill from his parents.  Which we really needed!

Polar Express 2011

The Polar Express is so fun do to with the kids whole they are little and the Magic is there. This year my Parents were able to come for Christmas and joined us on this adventure.  If you have not had the chance to do this you need to try it out.

I love Brandons face how he is looking up at Santa.  Pricless!!

We have a new addition!

So for Christmas this year (December 2011) we decided to get the kids a new puppy.  Her name is Sophie and she is a mix of mini shnouzer, lab, and griffin.  I met her while i was doing Physical therapy.  A guy there brought his puppies in and I fell in love with her right away.  Jeff was really surprised when I came home and told him he ha to see this dog, because its not something i wanted right now.  We talked about it maybe when the kids were older, but she got my heart.  She is the perfect dog a year later.  She is the best snuggler, loves to sit next to you all the time, never barks(occasionally at a dog or noise), loves to go on runs with us, and is so kind to the kids.  We could not have asked for a better dog.
