1st grade Filed Day

Yesterday I got to go all day and watch Matthew participate in field day. It was a lot of fun to see all the kids. The first picture is of the hurdles, I thought they were the cutest little things ever. Matthew's events were the 50m dash, shot put, discus, running long jump, and the relay.

Looks like great fun for the kids. I'm glad you were able to go cheer them on. Our field day didn't have nearly as many exciting events. Mainly just relay races. Which event was Matthew most excited about?

That looks like a really neat field day, the ones I remember from elementary weren't near as cool! He sure looks like the little athlete! Oh BTW---I loved the post on honesty, good for your kids, what a great way to teach them that lesson.
