The PARTY goes on !!!!

So, Friday night my friend Becca asked if she could take me to lunch on Saturday (the 17th) for my birthday. I told her that would be so fun, and our kids have not seen each other for 5 months. So we headed down to Highlands Ranch and hung out for a while, let the kids play, and then we were off to the Cheesecake Factory, one of my Favorite places!! We had such a wonderful lunch and it was so fun to catch up after 5 months. We are both expecting babies this year, she is due in July. We were sitting at our table, waiting for our check, and Jeff call me, and says he is coming to pick me up, because the kids are being raunchy, and brandon woke up from his nap. I didn't really think much of it, but I did think he was being kind of rude and a little weird, but I was just like ok what ever. On our way home I really wanted to stop and get the kids a trampoline, because we have been wanting to, but just haven't yet. Jeff told me that he had a stomach ache and he had diahrea. I told him great, just go in Sam's Club and stink their bathroom up. He just kept insisting on going home, I told him ok, as long as we don't have to get the kids out, and then we can go get the tramp. So I walked in and their were decorations hanging all over. I asked Jeff , what is this? He said what? I was actually a little freaked out, so I was peaking around the corner and all of a sudden my mom, my sister, and my best friend crystal all popped out and yelled surprise!!! I was so in shock It was like it wasn't real. I was so surprised to see them and it was the last thing i expected.





After we all had a good laugh, and hugged I was told to go shave my legs and I had 15 min, because we were off to the Day Spa. I was soooooo excited and I really, really needed this. Man this was the best surprise EVER.




We arrived at the spa, and started off with the hot tub, and the steam and Sauna rooms, for 45 min. Then we were off to our hour messages, man that felt good. Then we headed down stairs for our pedicures and manicures. It was such a wonderful and relaxing day. After the spa, we headed out to dinner at P.F Changs and had a wonderful time just laughing and talking. I REALLY have to thank Jeff for watching the kids all day and for the WONDERFUL surprise. You are the BEST,BEST husband I could ever ask for. And this WAS the best birthday ever. Thank you sooooo much and I LOVE YOU so much with all of my heart.

Baby

I went to the doctor today for my 16th week checkup. I finally got to hear the heartbeat, because last time they could not find it so instead we got another ultrasound. The baby is doing well and I got to schedule my ultrasound appointment for Friday the 13th. Wahoo. I can not wait!!! I will keep you all posted=)

The big 30!!!

So, I have finally hit 30. I am no longer part of the 20's and quite frankly I am pretty happy with where I am today. I have a wonderful husband who works hard, is a GREAT father, I have 3 wonderful children with 1 on the way. I don't have to much to complain about, except that the years just fly by, and before you know it, your kids are all grown up and I'm getting old. So, I have to say that my 30th birthday was pretty great. We first started off be celebrating on May 3rd at Jeff's parents, and we also celebrated my father-in-laws at the same time, who's birthday is on the 4th. We had a wonderful barbeque and a wonderful cake made be my sister-in-law Emily.
Here is the wonderful cake that my sister-in-law made for our joint celebration. It is a princess cake as Ashlie called it, but to make it a little more masculine, she added a nato plane on top for an added touch. My favorite part is the candles that say 6230. It was a fun celebration together, thanks for sharing it with me Dad.



Then on the 7th of May we headed off to St. george for a wonderful stay in the SUN!! The first few day's, we just chilled and played at some parks. Sorry we did not get to visit anybody, it was such a short trip. Then on Friday, jeff told me he had a surprise for me and that we were going out for my Birthday (which was on Sunday the 11th) So we took the kids to my Mom's work at 4:00 and dropped them off with her. Jeff gave me a card and it said, that we were going to Vegas and he was taking me to see Phantom of the Opera. Wahooo. I was so excited, I have always wanted to see that, so we went and had dinner before and then saw the show. It was awesome, and we had a really good time. Unfortunately we did not bring our camera, so these were taken from our phone. And it's all we got. We were so bummed to forget our camera.


On Saturday we went to Mesquite and swam. The water was kind of cold, but it was hot outside and the kids had a good time.




Sunday was a great day, being Mother's Day and my Birthday. I got to sleep in, got my fav breakfast (french toast), the kids made me wonderful cards, and got me a patio swing for our back yard, which I am totally excited about. I asked Matthew what his card said with all the scribbles, and he said " To mom, happy birthday, have a special day love Matthew" I thought that was so cute, it just melted my heart. We had a yummy steak Barbeque and celebrated with presents and cake. It really was a wonderful day, and can't thank Jeff enough for the wonderful Husband that he is.

Ashlie

Every once in a while Ashlie has an accident and pees her pants. Last night after she got out of the bath, I asked her Ashlie, why did you pee your pants? She said to me " mommy it was an akident (accident)", I told her that she knew she had to go, because she was dancing around and she said again "mommy it was a akident (accident), you can't ell (yell) at me, it was an akident. It was so cute, I just had to laugh inside. It was just her little voice is so cute when she was saying it.

Spring fun

I have a feeling this will be our favorite thing to do this summer.

Brandon

This first picture I just had to post for posterity.


The next picture, brandon has his kitty that goes EVERYWHERE with him, he loves it. So we decided to go to the store the other day, to buy another one in case this one dies one day, and could not find it anywhere, so we bought a puppy instead. He love it, but not as much as the kitty. Let's hop his kitty lasts more than 9 lives.

The last picture, a couple weekends ago Ashlie came down with a fever of 104.3's for 2 days. Then Brandon decided he wanted to get sick too. So this day I decided to lay him on my bed, while I was printing some things off. He decided to lay back, do I got his kitty and blanket and the next thing I know he is out. It was so cute, because he never does this, and later that day he fell asleep with me again on the couch. To a point, I love when they get sick, because it's the only time they snuggle. After a few days of a very IRRITABLE and non sleeping baby, we discovered he has Hand, foot, mouth disease, which is still in the process of getting better.

We were out washing our cars the other day, and I turned around and saw Matthew washing his bike. I thought it was so cute.

I'm not dead, just tired!

Ok, so I have really been a big blogging slacker lately, and I apologize. When Brandon naps, I nap, and that is when I usually do my blogging or cleaning or whatever needs to be done. But, napping is good for now, until I get more energy. Do we ever have more energy?? Any way here are a few pictures of what we have been up to, which isn't much.


This is what Jeff taught the kids how to do. It actually really scares me, but they love it. I wish I could get the video to work ,I will have to work on it. Sorry it's not a better picture.

READY or not HERE comes # 4 !!!

Yes, this was planned and we are so excited to have this little one join our family. I am only 10 weeks along and I had my 1st appointment today. Everything is looking good and you could see the little tike moving around. It was SO cute. It made me fall in love with it already, just to see it moving. You can see it's little legs and arm in the picture. My due date is October 28th. I am hoping in 2 weeks to start feeling better and be a little more motivated, and I will be done with the 1st trimester. YEA!! Sorry it's sideways.
